About This Tool
Why use PDF Merge?
Combine several PDFs into one file. Add the documents, put them in the order you want with the arrows, and every page from every file is copied into a single new PDF with pdf-lib — the page count of the result is shown so you can confirm nothing was dropped.
Pages are copied rather than re-rendered, which is what makes this safe for real paperwork: embedded fonts, vector graphics, images, form fields and signatures all survive exactly as they were, and nothing is re-compressed. The whole merge happens in your browser, so a contract and its annexes are never uploaded to a third party just to be stapled together.
Key Benefits
You control the order
Move files up and down before merging, so the combined document comes out in the right sequence the first time.
Nothing is re-encoded
Pages are copied whole, so fonts, images, vector graphics and signatures are identical to the originals.
Merged on your device
Contracts, statements and reports are combined in the browser and never uploaded to a merge service.

PDF Merge FAQs
How do I control which document comes first?
Use the up and down arrows next to each file. The merged PDF follows the order shown in the list, and the numbers beside each file tell you where it will land.
How many PDFs can I merge?
There is no fixed limit — you need at least two. Everything is held in memory while it merges, so very large documents depend on how much memory your browser has available.
Will merging reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied rather than re-rendered, so text stays selectable and images keep their original quality.
Can I merge a password-protected PDF?
No. Encrypted files cannot be opened for reading and the merge will report an error. Remove the password first, then merge the unprotected copy.
